Wild work week

Monday I started life as an independent consultant for two different jobs. I called and met lots of people. This is something I normally don’t do, because I used to have a full time job that numbed my spirit. So I woke up excited and was very productive at getting five appointments scheduled for the week. Also I had a fun audition.

Tuesday I took rentalship of a beautiful 100 year old house in Murray. I’ll be able to write off 50% of the rent and utilities since I’ll be dedicating that much space to business. Also, I had a nice lunch meeting with TTG to plan out the technology for MarblesForMiracles.com. There will be a big party on December 2nd. Tickets are $100 and only forty available. Fun* I discovered in yoga that a still have some bad dental work that is causing me bad headaches. I went straight to the dentist in my thai fisherman clothes to set an appointment. Life is so fun!

Wednesday was Mary Kay day. I had my first facial party at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center in WVC the prior Wednesday where I had two lovely ladies come for the pizza and possibilities. This week is was call, call, call to get people to commit to comming to my debut party at my new house on Friday. I had so much fun talking to so many ladies. God I am blessed.

Thursday was about keeping commitments. I now have five days of work scheduled to do this month that will net me what I would have made in twenty days of work as the FTE. Nice* I also got cast in a short-film and we had our script reading that night. Also I got a new dining table that can easily seat 10 people. Another tax write-off since I bought it in order to have big Mary Kay parties.

Friday was high drama. I had to rent a U-Hual to get my new table over to the new house so I could have my debut Mark Kay party. I had to cancel an afternoon appointment, because there was just no time to get it all done. I almost cancelled yoga, but I know I need to get back in shape after torturing myself during the filming of Five West. Fortunatly I went and Tim offered to help me deliver the table and then offered to help me set it all up. We just barely finished setting up the table and chairs when the first guests arrived. I forgot how laborious labor can be. ;)

Saturday was the shoot date for ‘Detour’, which will be a five minute film that will air on the new TV show ‘On The Lot’. They needed more actors so I called up two friends that I thought could act the part. After that Troy and I moved some stuff to the new house since he had his Jeep at my old house. I ended my night by getting an autographed PayDay and a big hug from Glen Moreshower. Better known as Allen Pierce on ‘24′.

Today is my day to catch up. No appointments, just me and my kittes and a pile of papers!
